{"id":30650,"date":"2023-09-28T11:20:54","date_gmt":"2023-09-28T08:20:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/atlasproperty.top\/?p=30650"},"modified":"2023-09-28T11:20:54","modified_gmt":"2023-09-28T08:20:54","slug":"real-estate-continues-to-play-a-key-role-in-the-development-of-the-georgian-economy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/atlasproperty.top\/en\/real-estate-continues-to-play-a-key-role-in-the-development-of-the-georgian-economy\/","title":{"rendered":"Real estate continues to play a key role in the development of the Georgian economy"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In the second quarter of 2023, Georgia&#8217;s economy showed annual growth of 7.5%, with nominal GDP amounting to 19.28 billion lari (or $7.35 billion), according to information from the National Statistical Office.<\/p>\n<p>This growth in the second quarter was mainly due to increased value added in the following sectors:<\/p>\n<p>Administrative support service (+42.8%)<br \/>\nConstruction (+22.7%)<br \/>\nInformation and communication services (+20.2%)<br \/>\nEducation (+19.6%)<br \/>\nWholesale and retail trade; repair of cars and motorcycles (+14.6%)<br \/>\nPublic Administration and Defense; compulsory social security (+11.1%)<br \/>\nTransport and warehousing (+6.8%)<\/p>\n<p>The greatest contribution to the formation of GDP was made by the following industries:<\/p>\n<p>Trade sector (15.5%)<br \/>\nReal estate activities (10.6%)<br \/>\nManufacturing (8.9%)<br \/>\nConstruction (7.7%)<br \/>\nAgriculture, forestry and fishing (7.7%)<br \/>\nPublic administration (6.9%)<br \/>\nTransportation and storage (6%)<br \/>\nEducation (5.3%)<\/p>\n<p>As for the outlook, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili announced an increase in the economic growth forecast for 2023 from the previous 5% to 6.5%.
