This new program is designed to attract IT professionals and their family members.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"382\" data-end=\"442\"><strong data-start=\"382\" data-end=\"440\">Who will be eligible for the \u201cNomad Residence Permit\u201d?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"444\" data-end=\"526\">Three categories of applicants will be able to obtain this new residence permit:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"528\" data-end=\"750\">\n<li data-start=\"528\" data-end=\"610\">\n<p data-start=\"530\" data-end=\"610\">Employees of IT companies registered with Georgia\u2019s Ministry of Health system;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"611\" data-end=\"688\">\n<p data-start=\"613\" data-end=\"688\">Individual entrepreneurs working in IT and holding small business status;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"689\" data-end=\"750\">\n<p data-start=\"691\" data-end=\"750\">Employees of international IT companies and their families.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"752\" data-end=\"784\"><strong data-start=\"752\" data-end=\"782\">What are the requirements?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"786\" data-end=\"877\">To be eligible for the \u201cNomad Residence Permit,\u201d an applicant must meet several criteria:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"879\" data-end=\"1153\">\n<li data-start=\"879\" data-end=\"935\">\n<p data-start=\"881\" data-end=\"935\">Have at least 2 years of experience in the IT field;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"936\" data-end=\"987\">\n<p data-start=\"938\" data-end=\"987\">Prove an annual income of no less than $25,000;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"988\" data-end=\"1041\">\n<p data-start=\"990\" data-end=\"1041\">Reside in Georgia for at least 183 days per year;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1042\" data-end=\"1153\">\n<p data-start=\"1044\" data-end=\"1153\">The initial residence permit will be issued for 3 years with the possibility of extension for up to 12 years.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1155\" data-end=\"1212\"><strong data-start=\"1155\" data-end=\"1210\">How will this affect the Batumi real estate market?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1214\" data-end=\"1550\">It is expected that the launch of the \u201cNomad Residence Permit\u201d program will bring thousands of digital professionals to Georgia, who will choose the country as a comfortable place to live and work.
